The final collections of the fashion schools offer an insight into the creative future of fashion. Young designers often impress with their variety of ideas and very creative approaches. In the third part of the series on the new generation of German designers, we present another impressive example.
Disharmony and deconstruction
The collection of designer duo Alex Kuhl and Kim Huber “7 – the mathematical relation in nature” is very conceptual. It is dedicated to disharmony and technical deconstruction. The unusual proportions in the silhouette and the strong colours distinguish the unconventional look of the collection. The loosely sewn-on details, loose threads and graphic embroidery create an unfinished look and contrast with the elegant cuts. They seem serious and playful at the same time. The well wearable pieces are extremely modern and fashionable. A shining example of the new German up-and-coming designers!
