G-Star is one of my favourite denim labels. The Dutch simply always manage to inspire me with their worker-style outfits. You can easily combine complete looks that have their very own charm. In the G-Star Store in Bochum I got an insight into the current winter collection – and did a photo shoot directly at the shop. The result is an editorial with seven different winter styles.
Cool guys don’t freeze: Leather jackets
Leather jackets are still trendy in winter. Whether as a biker jacket or blouson – the parts are simply indispensable in men’s styles. G-Star also offers great variations made of fine genuine and synthetic leather. Combined with skinny jeans, boots or cool sneakers you can easily get a cool street-style look.
If you do freeze: warm jackets
On cold winter days you need the right jacket to keep you warm. Duffle coats have long established themselves as classics. The G-Star model is a thick and warm all-weather version with a large hood. The 3-in-1 parka with removable inner jacket also offers warmth and flexibility. I combine both looks with a denim shirt, cool jeans and the worker-style denim boots “Myrow”.
Under it: knit
Knitted sweaters are my constant companions in winter. Preferably basic, single-coloured, nice and warm. In the first style I wear the “Suzaki Knit” with its eye-catching rip sleeves. Combined with a shirt and cool jeans it is a casual and everyday look. The second outfit with the light cuffed chino and the light jacket is more for sunny winter days – but the knitted sweater also offers the necessary warmth.
Festive: Combination with jacket
Jeans and jacket quickly create a chic look! If you combine it with stylish boots, nothing can go wrong anymore. The olive green shirt goes perfectly with the lace-up boots – and the bow tie gives the outfit a festive touch. In winter, the holidays are just around the corner. Good thing G-Star can be chic too!
