Patches, patches, patches – you just can’t get past brightly coloured patches! Whether on trousers, jackets, sweaters or bags: Almost all labels are currently decorating their garments with the sewn-on pictures.
Do it yourself
Of course we all remember the colorful patches from our childhood. While they used to hide a hole in the knee of our worn jeans, today they are a fashionable accessory and an expression of cheerfulness. Even the big designers use the colourful patches and give their looks a casual charm with a small wink.
My all-denim look is inspired by the clothes I wore as a teenager: Shirt, jeans vest, carrot jeans and my chucks. In order to clarify the connection to childhood daysl, I put on hand myself: My jeans vest I have over and over decorated with colorful patches. Here the Cookie Monster and Elmo, Smileys and colorful Calavera skulls jump around. What the patches used to hide is now on display: The ripped jeans in carrot cut are made by Diesel and can be combined with the high chucks due to their short cut legs. A great streetstyle look for every occasion.
Numerous patches with different motifs can be found in the web. They are easy to iron on and turn any garment super easy into an individual it-piece.
