Well, we didn’t really gone to a tropical forest for this shoot. But I think we have managed the mood quite well. This is certainly due to my tropical summer outfit: short cargo pants, wide shirt and casual hat are perfect for a trip into the green wilderness.
The perfect equipment
On an excursion into the countryside with suitable clothing you can enjoy the tropical hot days particularly well. The outfit should be short and airy. My cargo shorts* in light beige are from Garcia. It offers great comfort and can be combined in many ways. I am wearing an airy shirt from designer label 3Zehn in a light brown shade. A hat is a must for the tropical look – like Brixton’s “Ranger II” in olive green with a thin leather strap. My shoes are also olive and offer my feet the necessary protection. The Palladium brand has been celebrating a real revival since last year. The striking fabric shoes with robust rubber caps are available in numerous colours and model variants. The dark green model Pampa M65 made of robust canvas is inspired by military jackets and fits my look perfectly. I wear a green rucksack from Matt & Nat* for my meals. Made of recycled nylon, it offers two additional zippered pockets in addition to the main compartment on the front. Ecology and design aspects play an important role for the modern label. This makes my equipment perfect for a trip to the tropics or the forest next door.
