Coachella shows you how it’s done: At the music festival in California, the boho style was absolutely hip again for boys and girls. Long, wide fabrics, ethnic elements, plenty of jewellery and bright, warm colours are the most important components of this look. Also outside the festival meadow you can dress this summer super casually in the boho style.
Open minded and easy-going
The boho style expresses a special attitude: it tells of an open minded and easy-going attitude that celebrates life and freedom. The long shirt in combination with the light suit is an unconventional combination that expresses this feeling. You are welcome to wear jewellery: leather straps, bracelets, chains, shawls, feathers and so on. Colourful ethnic symbols, which tell of foreign countries and other cultures, are also a perfect match for the boho look. The skinny suit in light “mushroom” is from Noose & Monkey. I rolled up the sleeves of my jacket and the trouser legs and go without any shoes at all. The knee-length, white shirt in a tunic cut looks particularly casual. The aviator glasses from Armani have light brown, mirrored lenses and protect perfectly from the sun. But the look is only complete with my hairstyling: my braided hair is a real eye-catcher. But even without long hair, boho is the perfect style for people who don’t take themselves so seriously and enjoy the summer.
