When you think of the style of the 60ies, the summery flower power looks often come to mind. Flower dresses, flowing fabrics and earthy colours are still present today. Especially on the festivals of the summer you meet this style. Inspired by the Peace & Love movement I present my festival look.
Wrangler and Peter Max
Flower Power stands for colour and striking combinations. A philosphy of life was transported through the clothes: Peace & Love was supposed to flood the world. In collaboration with American Pop Art artist Peter Max, who became famous for his Flower Power paintings in the 1960s, Wrangler has launched a denim collection. The style of my denim jacket reminds of western and cowboys, the colour and pattern mix makes it a very stylish piece of fashion. Under it I wear a casual, white polo shirt by Massimo Dutti. The light pique fabric is particularly comfortable to wear in summer. My white Tapered Jeans from asos is ideal for this look and in this hot summer the perfectly matching trousers. And what would go better with this Peace & Love outfit than “Jesus traipse”? Birkenstocks have been in fashion for several years and are the perfect choice for this look. My headband is obligatory, but rounds off my festival flower power outfit really cool. Peace & Love for the world!
